Description
Milestone located at Byrness, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and painted white. The milestone has a triangular shape with a rounded back and stands approximately 2 feet high. One side is inscribed with "NEWCASTLE," while the other side reads "JEDBORO 40 16 MILES MILES."
