Description

This is a milestone located by Bennetsfield Farm, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and painted white, standing approximately 2 feet high. The milestone has a triangular shape with a rounded back. One side is inscribed with "NEWCASTLE," while the other side reads "JEDBORO 35 23 MILES MILES."
