Description
This milestone, located about half a mile west-north-west of Otterburn, dates from the early 19th century. It is made of sandstone and painted white, standing approximately 30 inches high. The milestone has a triangular shape with a rounded back. One side is inscribed with "NEWCASTLE," while the other side reads "JEDBORO 31 25 MILES."
