Description

The Rochester War Memorial is a war memorial built around 1920, designed in the Arts and Crafts style. It is constructed from ashlar stone and features a stone slate roof. The memorial consists of a tabernacle supported by four round columns, which stand on a base of two chamfered steps. The roof is steeply pitched and has a thin raised coping. Inside, there is a square block that is inscribed with the names of the fallen. Atop this block is a Celtic cross.
