Description

Drove Cottage and October Cottage are two cottages from the 18th century, constructed of red brick with thatched roofs. The left-hand cottage has three bays, while the right-hand cottage has two bays and is one and a half storeys high. The front features a plank door to the right of the centre of the left-hand cottage and a half-glazed door in the centre of the right-hand cottage. The left-hand cottage has three two-light casement windows, while the right-hand cottage has two segmental-headed two-light casement windows. There are three small two-light eyebrow dormers on the left-hand cottage, and the right-hand cottage has a larger eyebrow dormer with a two-light casement and side lights. The roofs are half-hipped, with a ridge stack located between the cottages and another at the far end.
