Description

Two cottages, built in the early and mid-18th century. They are constructed of red brick, with pantile roofs. The right-hand cottage has a rendered gable with kneelers and a raised eaves band with dentil detailing below. The left-hand cottage has a raised eaves band. The left-hand cottage is lower in height and has three bays, while the right-hand cottage has two bays and a first-floor band. The left-hand cottage has a single large Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars, and to the right, a doorway with a wooden door, both set within segmental arches. Further to the right is an archway leading to a through passage. Above the ground floor is another large Yorkshire sash window with glazing bars. The right-hand cottage mirrors this layout, with a single Yorkshire sash window and a doorway with a wooden door, finished with a Yorkshire sash window above. The left-hand cottage has a single rendered external stack on its right gable, while the left-hand cottage has a red brick ridge stack which marks its eastern extent.
