Description
West End Farmhouse and the attached stable block are a farmhouse and stable built in the late 18th century, with extensions and refacing from the 19th century. The building is rendered and features a hipped concrete pantile roof, with a raised and brick coped gable and kneeler at the rear left. There are two red brick chimney stacks and dentil eaves. The structure is two storeys high and has two bays, with a first floor band and two pilasters. Each floor contains two sash windows. At the rear, there is a single storey, three bay wing that leads to a single storey range of red brick stabling, which also has dentil eaves. The first block of the stable has a doorway with a stable door under a segmental arch and additional blocked openings. To the left, there is a lower range with a raised, brick coped left gable, a kneeler, and a doorway with a stable door under a segmental arch. Further to the left and set back is the final range, which has altered openings.
