Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the mid 17th century and early 19th century. It features colourwashed plaster over brick and has a 19th-century concrete pantile roof that is hipped to the left. The building has a single red brick and render stack, with a similar stack on the right gable that slightly projects on the first floor. It is set on a plinth and has two storeys with five bays. The central doorway has a panelled door, an overlight, and an open Roman Doric porch. On either side of the doorway are two sash windows, with three similar sash windows above. To the left, there is a lean-to that is hidden behind a parapet, and set back is the gable end of a cross wing that has a gable stack and a single glazing bar sash window under a segmental arch on the first floor. At the rear, there is an altered 17th-century wing. The interior features a large chamfered main beam, three panelled doors, a small cupboard with a double panelled door, and a built-in panelled dresser.
