Description
The Bridge Inn is a public house dating from the late 18th century, with alterations that include a 19th-century porch. It is constructed of painted brick and has a roof covered with concrete pantiles. The building features two gable and one ridge red brick stacks, and an eaves band that includes dentil, raised brick, and dogtooth detailing.
The structure is two and a half storeys tall and consists of four bays. The projecting closed porch has a single glazing bar sash window set under a segmental arch, flanked by pilasters that support an open pediment in the gable. On the left side of the porch, there is a doorway with a panelled door framed by a fluted surround. To the right of the porch is a single sash window, while to the left there is a single glazing bar sash, a blocked opening, and another single glazing bar sash. The top floor features three wooden cross casements with three small glazing bar casements above them. The front of the building is flanked by single pilasters, and there is a lean-to extension at the rear.
