Description
This building, known as No. 83, is a house from the mid-18th century that has been altered in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is now part of a hotel. The structure is two stories high with an attic and features a three-bay design. At the rear, there are hip-roofed projections on part of the building, while the rest has an outshot. The front of the house has a central six-panel door that is top-lit, along with a blocked doorway next to it. On either side of the door, there are three-light casement windows set under cambered arches. The first floor has a raised band that is broken in the center; it steps up to continue on the left side with the next building and steps down to continue on the right side with the hotel. The first floor also features three-light casement windows and two-light hip-roofed dormers above. Most of the windows have leaded lights. There are ridge stacks at either end of the building, which are shared with adjacent structures. Inside, the ground floor is now a single room, although the fireplaces remain.
