Description

No. 88 is a cottage located in Buckler's Hard, dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century and restoration in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays, with a central hipped projection at the rear and outshots on either side. The front of the cottage has a central plank door, with two-light segmental-head casements on either side and two-light leaded casements above. There is a ridge stack at the right-hand end and a stack on the rear of the left-hand outshot. The roof is adorned with combed ridge tiles.
