Description

This is a cottage located in Buckler's Hard, dating from the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of brick and features an old plain tile roof. The cottage is situated at the lower end of a terrace and is two stories high with two bays, consisting of two separate builds, and has a wing at the rear.

The front of the cottage has a plank door at the right-hand end, next to another cottage. Adjacent to the door is a two-light casement window with a segmental head. The left-hand bay has a lower-set three-light casement window. On the first floor, there is a two or three-light casement window above the ground floor windows, and a blind opening above the door. A large central ridge stack is present, and the cottage abuts a taller roof on the right-hand side. On the left-hand end, there is an early 20th-century canted bay window.
