Description

BEAULIEU BUCKLER'S HARD SU 4000 18/12 Nos. 86 and 86a (Formerly listed 8.10.59 as No 86) GV II Cottage with small infill cottage, now used as community centre. Late C18/early C19 altered C19. Brick, old plain tile roof. Single storey and attic, 2 bay with 1 bay cottage added (there is evidence that this infilled passage to rear gardens), outshot to rear. Front has larger cottage to LH with plank door in solid frame and 2-light casement in LH bay, 2-light casement and 3-light hip-roofed dormer in other bay. RH bay has higher set plank door and 2-light casement, over 2-light gabled dormer. Ridge stacks at either end of larger cottage. Abuts taller buildings at either end.
