Cottage. C16, extended C18. Timber-frame with colour-washed brick infill and additions, thatched roof. End onto road, two bay C16 building with bay added to road end and outshot bay added to far end C18, two storey. Planked door to road end bay with one or two-light casement each side. Two two-light casements in road end C16 bay and one in narrow other, door in outshot. On first floor two-light casement in each bay and window in outshot. Roof half-hipped at road end and sweptdown at far end. Stack at inner end of C18 bay and far end of ridge. Road end formerly had c1900 bowed shopfront, bullseyes beside and casements over.
