Description
Micheldever Cottage is a cottage dating from the 16th and 18th centuries. It is a timber-frame building with brick infill and a thatched roof. The cottage comprises a single-bay 16th-century structure projecting to the road, with an outshot to the left side and an 18th-century bay attached to the right at the road end. The outshot has two single-light casement windows either side of an upright. The right bay has two two-light casements either side of an upright, a style casement, and a two-light 18th-century casement in the left bay. A long eyebrow dormer extends over the 16th-century bay, featuring a four-light casement. The roof is half-hipped and sweeps over the outshot. A ridge stack is located at the left end of the 18th-century bay.
