Description
Park Cottage and Wayside Cottage, originally three cottages forming a row, date from the early 19th century. The cottages have walls of painted roughcast, with a graduated greenslate roof and wavy eaves boarding over Wayside Cottage. Yellow brick chimney stacks are present. The arrangement is two bays for the majority of the row, with a single bay for No. 2. Twentieth-century doors are set within stucco porches, each topped with a gabled roof featuring shaped bargeboards and finials. Casement windows with glazing bars are set within painted stone surrounds, each topped with a hoodmould. A rear extension to No. 1, added in the 20th century, is not considered to be of significant interest.
