Description
33, 34, 35 and 36 High Street are a row of three cottages with an additional cottage set at right angles to the rear. They likely date from the 18th century and were repaired in the early 20th century. The cottages are rendered and colourwashed, featuring a gable-ended slate roof with five brick stacks.
The layout is L-shaped, with each cottage having one main room on the ground floor. The exterior is two storeys high and has a front elevation with three windows for Nos 33 and 35, and two windows for No 34. The windows are early 20th century casements with glazing bars and small panes. There are three door openings on the front: Nos 33 and 35 have early 20th century plank doors, while No 34 features a panelled door with the top two panels cut away and glazed. On the right side, No 36 has two early 20th century 12-pane casements and a 20th century glazed door on the left, topped with a slated hood. The interiors have not been inspected.
