Description

The front gate piers and wall for Lorton Park were built in the early 19th century. They feature painted incised stucco walls topped with saddle-back coping. The rectangular piers are also made of painted stucco and are adorned with 20th-century lion finials. The walls are serpentine in shape and include square end piers. This structure is listed for its group value with Lorton Park.
