Description

Oak Hill is an early 19th-century house located in Lorton. It features painted incised stucco with decorative eaves modillions and angle pilasters. The roof is a graduated hipped design made of greenslate, complemented by cement rendered chimney stacks. The house is two storeys tall and has three bays, with a lower two-storey, three-bay wing at the rear. The entrance includes a panelled door with an overlight, set beneath a bracketed cornice. There are canted bay windows on either side of the entrance, and sash windows with glazing bars are located under bracketed cornices. The rear wing also has sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals.
