Description
The Dawson Monument, located approximately 6 meters south of All Saints' Church in Matterdale, Watermillock, is a Grade II listed table tomb dating from 1766. It features a slab with a simply moulded edge resting on low supports that have moulded caps. The monument commemorates Edward Dawson, who died in 1729, and his wife Eleanor, who died in 1805.
