Description

The farmhouse and attached barns likely date from the early 18th century, with later additions and a raised roof. The house is constructed of stone rubble, with a roughcast finish on the front, and has slate roofs. Originally three bays, the third bay was probably added later. The first two bays have windows with chamfered reveals, sash windows with vertical glazing bars and horns. The ground floor windows are smaller, with two to the first bay (one likely a former entrance), and a two-light window with a flat-faced mullion to the second bay. The third bay has sash windows, and a front entrance with chamfered reveals leading to a half-glazed door. A gable-end stack and two axial stacks are present. An outbuilding to the right has two blocked doors and two inserted openings. The barn to the left is lower, with a segmental-headed entrance containing barn doors, and an owl hole in the gable end. A catslide outshut and a later gabled wing extend from the rear of the house.
