Description

The Dawe Monument, located in the churchyard 5 metres west of the Church of St James, is a late 17th-century table tomb. It is made of stone and features plain sides and ends. The tomb has a flat top block adorned with a heavy cornice. An inscription in capital letters reads: "To.... William Dawe.....1690".
