Description
Church Cottage is an attached former farmhouse that has been converted into a cottage. It dates from the mid-18th century, with the possibility of an earlier core, and has undergone significant alterations. The building features rubble stone walls with stone quoins and has clay-tile roofs, with a gable end on the left side and a hipped roof on the right. There is a rebuilt stone stack at the center of the ridge. The cottage is two storeys high and has three windows, which are wooden casements with two, three, and four lights, featuring wooden cills and lintels from the 19th and 20th centuries. The front door, located to the left of center, is a plank door with one glass light, dating from the 20th century, and has a wooden lintel above it.
