Description

The tomb chest for the Dawson family is located approximately 20 metres south of the porch of the Church of St Mary and St Hardulph. This early 18th-century structure is made of limestone and features slate inscription panels on its ends. It has a moulded base and a cornice lid. The inscriptions commemorate Henry Dawson, who died in 1704, and John Dawson, who died in 1716.
