Description
Boundary post dated 1847. It is made of cast iron and set in a stone rubble wall. The post has a triangular shape with a chamfered front angle and a pyramidal cap over the cornice. There are two attached plates with moulded edges and raised lettering; the left plate reads "TOWNSHIP OF MARTINDALE" and the right plate reads "TOWNSHIP OF BARTON" (with two angles broken off), with the date displayed above.
