Description

This is a boundary post dated 1847, made of cast iron. It has a triangular shape with a chamfered front, a cornice, and a plain cap featuring the date on the right face. There are two plates on the post; the left plate reads "TOWNSHIP OF SOCKBRIDGE," while the right plate reads "TOWNSHIP OF BARTON."
