Description
This drinking fountain, built in 1885, is made of slate and features a wall with rock-faced coping. It is supported by three square piers that have rock-faced bands and caps, with rounded stones on either side. The central pier holds a cast iron drinking fountain, which includes a bowl and a dog bowl below it. Above the fountain is a lead-letter inscription that reads: "IN/MEMORIAM/ERECTED BY/SUSANNA BEEVER/1885". To the left of the fountain is a horse trough, which has the inscription: "A RIGHTEOUS MAN/REGARDETH THE LIFE/OF HIS BEAST" above it. To the right, there is a seat with the inscription: "HE SENDETH THE/SPRINGS INTO THE/RIVERS WHICH RUN/AMONG THE HILLS" above it.
