Description
Hall Cottage, likely originally two houses, dates from the 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof that is hipped at the eastern end. The building is two storeys high and has five bays. The first two bays contain square windows with horizontally sliding sashes that have glazing bars, while the entrance to the first bay includes an overlight. The third to fifth bays feature sashed windows with single glazing bars, and the entrance to the fourth bay has a six-flush-paned door with two glazed panels. There is a cross-axial stack and a gable-end stack. The front garden is enclosed by a wall on three sides, which is attached to the house, and includes iron railings and a gate at the front.
