Description

The terrace walls and steps located to the south of Askham Hall are approximately 21.5 meters long and date from the 17th or 18th century. Constructed from ashlar, the upper wall features a cornice and has a central gate that leads down to the steps of the lower wall. The lower wall is equipped with a gate and is flanked by raking buttresses.
