Description

This barn, located to the west of Askham Hall, is likely from the 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slate roof. The west elevation features two segmental-headed barn entrances, with a larger straight-headed entrance inserted between them. There are also some blocked arched entrances. At the north end, there is a lean-to outshut. The east elevation has a continuous outshut beneath a catslide roof and several entrances, including a two-light flat-faced-mullioned window.
