Description

Two houses, likely built in the mid-18th century with later additions. They are constructed of roughcast stone with a slate roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with six irregular bays, the two end bays being lower. Ground-floor windows are small-paned casements, although the window in the fourth bay has been replaced with PVC. First-floor windows are small-paned PVC, except for the end two bays, which retain small-paned sash windows with horns. The first and third bays feature wide gabled porches with arched openings and built-in benches, each leading to a half-glazed door. A half-glazed door is located in the sixth bay. There is a cross-axial chimney stack and two gable-end stacks. The rear of the property includes an outshut with a catslide roof, projecting beyond the left return.
