II Milepost on lane formerly part of A66 Penrith-Keswick road, now cut off by new section. Probably early C19. Dressed slate with cast iron panel. Upright slab with ogival top. Panel has lettering reading: "PENRITH/ 11 MILES/KESWICK/7 MILES".
