Description

No. 2 West Street is a mid-19th century house with a shop. The building has rendered walls, likely made of timber framing, designed to look like masonry. It features a hipped slate roof and has rendered chimneys on each side wall. The house is three storeys tall and has two windows facing West Street and two facing North Street. The upper storeys are fitted with 10-paned sash windows that have moulded architraves. In the ground storey, the architraves remain on the West Street side, although the left-hand window has been converted into a doorway. There is a late 20th-century shop front on the North Street side. Both fronts have a deeply projecting eaves-cornice.
