Description
The building is a house that has been converted into a museum, likely dating from the 17th century, with possible early 18th-century elements. The ground floor is solid and rendered, while the upper section features painted slate-hanging, which is almost certainly supported by a timber frame. The roof is slated and runs at right angles to the street, with a hipped design at the front. The building has three storeys and is one window wide. The ground floor underwent alterations in the late 20th century, featuring a recessed bow window on the left and a recessed flush door on the right. The upper storeys project out at the first floor, showcasing an original moulded bressumer. The sash windows are set in moulded flush frames, with 8 over 8 panes on the second storey and 4 over 8 panes on the third storey. The eaves are boxed with a cornice.
