Description

No. 6 East Street is a house with motor works, dating from the early 19th century. The front is rendered, and it has a slated roof with a rendered chimney on the left side wall. The building is three storeys high and two windows wide. The ground storey front has been removed to create an entrance for the motor works. The upper storeys are flanked by panelled pilasters that support an entablature with a panelled frieze and a deep cornice on shaped brackets. The windows feature moulded architraves, with bracketed sills on the third storey; the second storey has 2-paned sashes, while the third storey has 3 over 6-paned sashes.
