Description

1 and 3 St Lawrence Lane is a house that now functions as a shop, likely originally designed as a pair of houses. It dates from the early 19th century and features solid rendered walls, with the right side wall constructed of stone rubble. The building has a slated roof and a stone rubble chimney on the right gable end. It stands three storeys high and is two windows wide. The ground floor has two half-glazed doors, each accompanied by a window to the right. Number 1 has a wide late 20th-century window, while Number 3, along with all the upper storey windows, features 6-paned sashes set in recessed box frames. The eaves-cornice is deeply projecting.
