Description

No. 16 East Street is a house dating from the mid-19th century. The front is rendered, likely over a timber frame in the upper storeys, and is designed to imitate masonry. It has a slated roof and a rendered chimney on the left side wall. The building is three storeys high and features one window width with a doorway to the left of the ground storey window. The entrance has a six-panelled door, with the bottom two panels flush. In the ground storey, there is a two-paned sash window. The second storey has a canted bay with plain sash windows, while the third storey features a six-paned sash window.
