Description

This is a mid-19th century house located on East Street in Ashburton. The front is solid and rendered, with vertical lines imitating stonework. It has a slate roof. The house is three storeys high and one window wide, with a doorway to the left of the ground-floor window. The front door has six panels, the two lower panels being flush. To the right of the door is a canted bay window with two-paned sashes and a moulded top cornice. The second storey has a two-paned sash window, and the third storey has a two-light wooden casement window. A boxed eaves cornice tops the facade.
