Description
No. 6 St Mary Street is a shop with a dwelling, built in the mid-19th century. It features painted brick with painted stone dressings and a pantile roof that has bracketed eaves and brick stacks at the right gable end. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys tall with a single-window range. On the second floor, there is a gauged segmental arch above a plate-glass horned margin-pane sash window. The first floor showcases a cornice on moulded consoles above a full-height tripartite sash window. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front. The interior has not been inspected.
