Description
Orchard Cottage is a detached house dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill and a thatched roof adorned with decorative ridge thatching. The house has brick stacks and a rectangular plan, standing two storeys tall, likely comprising four bays. The windows are 20th-century wooden casements, some of which have glazing bars. There is a 20th-century plank door located under a thatched open-sided porch positioned towards the right gable end of the entrance front. To the right gable end, there is a single-storey painted brick extension with a thatched roof. The gable end facing the road has a half-hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
