Description

The Fountain is a detached house dating from the 17th century, with later extensions. It features square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill, while the later extensions are made of painted brick. The house has a red tile roof with brick stacks and a 'T'-shaped plan, with a timber-framed extension at the left gable end. There is a 20th-century garage extension that is not of special interest. The building is 1½ storeys high and has single-light and 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. A 20th-century studded plank door leads to a lean-to porch at the front. The interior has not been inspected.
