Description
Queen Anne Cottage is one of a pair of houses, likely built in the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of brick with incised render on the front and features a red tile roof. The house has rendered and coursed squared and dressed limestone stacks and a rectangular plan. It stands two storeys tall with an attic, which is illuminated by four 2-light roof dormers that have glazing bars. The facade has five windows, with two-light casements featuring 'Gothic' glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor has tall 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars and panels at the bottom. There is a part-glazed 19th-century front door located off-centre to the left and another part-glazed door at the far right. The building has a coved eaves cornice and a projecting stack at the left gable end, along with off-the-ridge and axial stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
