Description
Rosudgeon is a detached cottage dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with rendered infill, while the right gable end is constructed from limestone rubble and has a weatherboarded gable. The cottage has a thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching and brick stacks. It has a rectangular plan and is a single storey with an attic.
The facade has two windows, with two eyebrow dormers above, surrounded by weatherboarding. The first-floor windows are 2-light casements with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two small canted 4-light windows with diamond leaded panes. An off-centre left C20 brick porch has a thatched roof and a C20 plank door with fillets, flanked by single light windows also with diamond leaded panes. A two-light steel casement is located in the left gable end, and there is a C20 projecting brick stack at the left gable end, with another stack at the right gable end. The interior has not been inspected.
