Description

Brook Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Bushcombe Lane in Woodmancombe. The building is largely timber-framed with some areas faced in coursed squared and dressed limestone, and it has a thatched roof with a painted brick stack. A flat-roofed extension to the west gable end, dating to the 20th century, is not of particular architectural interest. The ground floor features a four-light canted oriel window. There is a single-light eyebrow dormer window with a 20th-century plastic casement. A narrow, partly glazed door is positioned off-centre to the left side. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
