Description
King's Farmhouse is a former farmhouse dating from the 17th century. It features coursed squared and dressed limestone along with square-panelled timber framing, topped by a thatched roof that has decorative ridge thatching. The building has an 'L'-shaped early range with a large 20th-century extension added to the east gable end, which is not of special interest.
The west front of the early range includes a 20th-century segmental-headed two-light casement window with shutters on the lower left, and to the right, there is a two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. On the first floor, there are two two-light casements, one of which has a segmental head, both with shutters. Additionally, there is a single-light window and another two-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned casement. The east-facing elevation features two small three-light casements, and there is a 20th-century four-light eyebrow dormer located on the upper left. The former gable-end stack has been incorporated into the later extension.
