Description
The Wooltons is a 17th-century cottage located on the north side of Stockwell Lane in Woodmancote. It features square-panelled timber framing with rendered infill set on a high coursed squared and dressed limestone plinth. The roof is slate, having been thatched originally, and there are rendered stacks. The cottage has a rectangular plan and is one and a half storeys tall.
The south front displays a variety of windows, starting from the left with a two-light casement that has horizontal glazing bars, followed by a 19th-century four-panel door, a rectangular casement bay window with glazing bars, and another two-light casement with horizontal glazing bars. There is also a two-light eaves dormer. On the west gable end, there are two two-light casements, one of which has a supporting bracket. Additionally, there is an early window with wooden mullions that is now blocked, a fixed nine-pane casement with some bull's-eye glass panes, and a 20th-century single-light casement at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
