Description

The Cottage is a 17th-century cottage located on the south side of Bushcombe Lane, Woodmancombe. It is constructed from rendered rubble with exposed square-panelled timber framing to the first floor, and has a thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching. The cottage has a rectangular plan and a 20th-century extension to the rear, which is not of special interest. It is one and a half storeys high, with a two-windowed north front. The ground floor has two two-light wooden casement windows, while the upper floor features two two-light eyebrow dormers, one dating from the 19th century, and a single-light stair-light to the far left. A central plank door provides access. The interior was not inspected.
