Description
This is an 18th-century store located approximately 12 meters north-west of Southfield House, parallel to the road. The building features rectangular timber framing with brick infill and a corrugated iron roof. It has a rectangular plan and includes a 20th-century plank door on the right gable end, along with pitching windows in both gable ends that have 20th-century metal casements with glazing bars.
Inside, the store consists of three bays and was formerly equipped with an upper floor. It has unusual queen post struts with a tie beam that is supported on brackets from below the wall plate. There is also an interrupted tie beam extending from the wall plate to the queen post.
