Description

This is a tall chest tomb located about 1.5 meters south-west of the Smyth Monument in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin. It dates from 1829 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top, a moulded plinth and capping, and rests on a small base. It has indented corners, with the ends displaying a frieze and cornice along with small raised horizontal oval panels. The sides are adorned with large plain sunk rectangular panels that contain indecipherable inscriptions.
