Description
A group of three chest tombs from the late 17th century is located about 5 meters north of the north-west corner of the nave in the churchyard of the Church of St Mary the Virgin. These tombs are made of limestone and feature flat tops with heavy moulded capping. The plinths are only partially visible, and the sides of the tombs are divided into two sections, with all panels being plain and sunk. The tombs were noted to be breaking up at the time of the survey in November 1984.
